Observers expected Wednesday to hold a meeting of the three presidencies next weekend at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, headed by President Fuad Masum and the presence of Prime Minister Haider Abadi, to discuss the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil.
Observers are likely to the Iraqi Shian to come out of the meeting by a decision leading to a dialogue between the federal government and the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and to inform the latter to send its delegation to negotiate.
The meeting is expected to witness the presence of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, after he missed the previous meeting on the pretext of «a health disorder», as well as a number of ministers important to resolve the controversial issues with their counterparts in the Kurdistan Regional Government.
