    Minister of Water Resources Hassan al-Janabi discussed in Ankara with the Minister of Water and Forest Affairs Faisal Eroglu the subject of joint water between the two countries and the timing of water filling the Alesso dam and its operation by the Turkish side and ensure not to harm Iraq's water quota.
     
    A statement by the Ministry of Water Resources, "Trend Press" on a copy, on Thursday, that Janabi asked the Turkish minister to postpone the water dam Alisso to the month of June next and agree on the release of water in light of indicators of water scarcity this year.
     
    The Minister of Water Resources Hassan al-Janabi arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara on Saturday to meet with his Turkish counterpart to discuss Iraq's water share. "
     
    "Janabi will discuss with Turkish Minister of Water and Forest Affairs Faisal Aroglu the construction of dams and Iraq's water quota," the statement said.
