What is the transfer of workshops and industrial labs outside Baghdad?

BAGHDAD - A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment MP Harith al-Harthy, an investment project for the establishment of an industrial city integrated in the outskirts of the capital Baghdad to transfer all workshops and laboratories from the city center to the borders of the capital.
Al-Harithi said that the industrial workshops within the cities emit toxic gases and environmental pollution that harm human health, there must be treatments to reduce these pollution. But there are a set of obstacles that prevented the implementation of this integrated project. "
"Among the obstacles is the lack of electricity and high fuel prices. This requires the coordination and cooperation of all concerned government departments to provide the infrastructure for the success of the project, just like most countries in the world."
He pointed out that "it is wrong to stay industrial neighborhoods and workshops within cities, there must be a solution and treatments to be deported out of the capital, according to a mechanism serving the citizens and industrialists."
For his part, the economic expert Abdul Hassan al-Shammari that Iraq does not have large and huge industries caused by environmental pollution, pointing out that the project to establish an industrial city outside the capital planned by the former regime and has not yet been implemented.
Shammari said that "the construction of residential complexes outside the cities needs a government decision that requires all concerned departments, ministries and owners of workshops to implement the decision, including the distribution of land to the industrialists and the provision of integrated infrastructure through paving roads and the provision of electricity and water, but this subject needs a long period of time can be implemented from Now to be achieved in the next five or ten years. "
"If all the facilities are available to the industrialists, the government does not need any means to convince the owners of the workshops to transfer their factories, so they will voluntarily transfer their factories to the UAE, where they have distributed vast industrial facilities to more than 10,000 meters in order to transport industries from the cities and reduce pollution. Resulting from them. "
