    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The federal government is determined to borrow to meet the budget deficit of 2018, expecting Iraq's debts to rise from 119 billion dollars to more than 130 billion dollars this year.
    "According to leaks to the budget of 2018, it has overlooked the investment side and the construction of Iraq, but included paragraphs to how to fill the financial deficit through internal and external borrowing and this in itself will weigh the burden of the Iraqi citizen."
    Al-Shammari said that "the paragraph included the borrowing of Iraq from 21 destinations between the state and banks, global and local, which will lead to the volume of debt owed by Iraq from 119 billion dollars to more than 130 billion dollars, including $ 45 billion in domestic indebtedness, meaning that every Iraqi individual and every child Born newly indebted $ 3500, and this is a tie to the Iraqi citizen in the present and the future. "

    As reported supplementary budget has reconstruction and welfare built in to it...but no mention of this budget on reference to general budget however article above does to mention that reconstruction and investment are missing from the budget..hmmm.wonder why?
