(Encyclopedia of this day , news | News Iraq ) -
    Economy News Baghdad:

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday called on central bank governor Haruhiko Kuroda to continue efforts to revive the economy but added he had not made a decision on whether to appoint Kuroda for another five years.

Abe had chosen Kuroda to take over the central bank in 2013 to implement a massive stimulus program under the prime minister's economic recovery policies that helped boost growth but failed to raise inflation to the bank's target of 2 percent.

Abe said the government would continue to work with the central bank to boost growth so that it could announce the end of the deflation as soon as possible.

"I want him to continue his efforts," Abe told Japan Radio and Television (NHK) about Kuroda.

But I did not pack my order "on who will succeed Kuroda when his term ends in April.
