Iran will not import gasoline next year
The deputy minister of oil, executive director of the National Company for the
refinement and distribution of oil derivatives Ali Reza Sadiq Abadi said that no budget has been allocated for the import of gasoline, so there will be no import in this area during the next Iranian year (beginning March 21).
"The refineries in the country must strive to maintain their production capacity in the next year (Iran) of 80 million liters per day," Sadiq Abadi said on Sunday during a visit by members of the Energy Committee of the Islamic Shura Council, .
He pointed out that this refinery is now running a third of its capacity, adding that this refinery should reach by the end of next year to produce 36 million liters of gasoline, "5 euros" per day.
He explained that with the launch of each stage of this project add 12 million liters of gasoline to the production of the country and after the launch of all stages will become Iran exporter of gasoline.
He said: "The possibility is available to increase the production of the refinery" Lavan "by one million to two million liters of gasoline, and will add one million liters to the production of liquidated daily until the end of the year.
