US President Donald Trump and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macaron, held a telephone conversation during which Trump Macaron briefed the latest developments on the Korean Peninsula, and the two presidents discussed the demonstrations in Iran, the White House said on Monday.
The White House said the conversation was aimed at "confirming" the determination of the United States, South Korea and the international community to achieve complete disarmament of North Korea's nuclear weapons.
"The two presidents also agreed that the large-scale demonstrations in Iran are a sign that the Iranian regime has failed to meet the needs of its people by instead diverting the country's wealth to the financing of terrorism and supporting armed groups abroad," he said in a statement.
Iran has been living since 27 December, the case of large protests in many areas, began protests against the living situation, but quickly turned into political demands, and death slogans to the dictator, referring to the Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, and not spend money on militias in Lebanon and Gaza and others .
