    [rtl]UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan's spokesman Stephane Dujarric described the Secretary-General's position on the Comprehensive Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as transparent and called on all parties concerned to support it and make room for its continued implementation..[/rtl]
    [rtl]Dujarric made the remarks Monday evening at a news conference after Iran threatened to reduce the level of cooperation or suspend it with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) if the United States fails to comply with its commitments to the nuclear agreement.[/rtl]
    [rtl]UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich has made clear his position on the nuclear deal in various meetings, he said.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Guterich considered the nuclear agreement one of the most important diplomatic achievements reached in recent years and called on all parties to do everything in their power to support the agreement and provide the ground for its continued implementation..[/rtl]
    [rtl]Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) chief Ali Akbar Salehi on Monday telephoned IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano to warn against the consequences of the United States' commitment to the nuclear deal..[/rtl]
    [rtl]Salehi said during the meeting that the failure of the United States to abide by its commitments to the nuclear agreement would prompt the Islamic Republic of Iran to take decisions that would have an impact on the course of cooperation with the Agency.[/rtl]
