     Saudi Arabia exports goods to Iraq more than 600 million dollars in a year













    Saudi Arabia's exports to Iraq in 2016 amounted to 2.3 billion riyals (613.3 million
     dollars), while the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, Abed al-Saadoun, said that the development of economic relations will contribute to increasing Saudi exports to Iraq 
    "Saudi exports to Iraq in 2016 amounted to 2.3 billion riyals ($ 613.3 million)," Saudi Arabia's Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper quoted Al-Rajah as saying. "85 per cent of exports are through land transport through Kuwait and Jordan, Cent by maritime transport ". 
    "The most prominent products that are exportable to the Iraqi market are foodstuffs, building materials, packaging, pharmaceuticals, precious metals, jewelry and chemicals," he added.
    For his part, Saadoun said that "the development of economic relations will contribute to the increase of Saudi exports to Iraq, and will be an important factor of Iraq's large market for the Kingdom, and will increase imports of the Kingdom of Iraq to have good economic fundamentals in various economic fields." 
    Al Saadoun stressed the need to increase the volume of trade exchange through joint ventures and joint ventures, especially in the sectors of industry, energy and mineral wealth of countries, as well as work to seize investment opportunities for Saudi investors.
