    Follow-up / Sky Press:

Sikorsky, the US company, said it had contracted Saudi Arabia for a helicopter deal worth about $ 194 million.

Saudi Arabia will receive 17 Black Hawk helicopters ( UH-60M ) for US $ 193.85 million by the end of 2022.

The agreement, announced by the US Department of Defense, includes eight helicopters to the Saudi National Guard and nine Special Forces aircraft.

The spokesman for Lockheed (the company that owns the Sekoski), that these aircraft were part of foreign military sales.

He added that it was not clear whether the 17 aircraft were new or had been part of the previously announced.

The aircraft were not included in the contract signed in July 2017, with Saudi Arabia on planes "40 UH-60M ", and medical "75 HH-60M ."

Saudi Arabia, which is suffering an economic crisis, has concluded arms deals worth about 460 billion dollars, which will be implemented over the next ten years, during a visit by US President Donald Trump, in May 2017.
