The Central Committee for compensating those affected by military operations, military errors and terrorist operations in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced that the total number of affected citizens whose property was compensated under the amended Law No. 20 of 2009 was more than 9,000 injured during 2017.

 
"The Central Committee, during its daily meetings held under the chairmanship of the judge, is a representative of the Supreme Judicial Council, and is a member of the ministries of finance, justice, interior and the human rights commission, as well as a representative of the victims of terrorism," said an authorized source in the committee. The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, approved 9238 special treatment of citizens affected property in Baghdad and the provinces during 2017, adding that these numbers were distributed between 4997 correct treatment, and 4241 incorrect treatment.

 
The sources pointed out that most of these transactions, which were approved by the Central Committee were the provinces of Baghdad and Diyala, in addition to the transactions of the provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin, received before the Committee before 9 June 2014, the date of entry of terrorist groups of those provinces.
