denied Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance nice Sami, Wednesday, issuance of any decision of the Ministry to raise the fees for the goods received from the State of Kuwait.

"The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyassa published in its issue Wednesday, January 17, 2018, reports that Iraq has issued a decision to raise the fees on goods imported from the State of Kuwait," Sami said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.

Sami added, "We are surprised by such news, we confirm that no recent decision to lift the customs duties on imported goods from all facilities as well as the origin of Kuwait, but a decision of the Iraqi Council of Ministers on 22 November 2017 reducing the number of categories of fees To ensure the flow of customs in the work of customs and simplify procedures and fight corruption, and there was no increase in the rates of customs duties.

"The ministry hopes all the media to be careful in spreading news and avoiding anything that would harm the fraternal relations between Iraq and Kuwait and the rest of the brothers in general," Sami said.

A Kuwaiti newspaper published on Wednesday said that Iraq had issued a decision to raise tariffs on goods imported from Kuwait.
