BAGHDAD ( Reuters) -
The most important US missile defense base in Europe has found itself under a "direct" threat because of a flock of sheep belonging to a farmer in southern Romania .

The herd, according to the Romanian "ndtv" station, used grazing around the base, attacking early warning receivers and pushing the fence of the base fence, making the sirens work throughout the day.

The Romanian authorities have resorted to various means to prevent farmers from grazing and their annoying herders on the grounds that the herd was built without the official permission of the local council, but the farmer raised an issue to protect himself from harm and provided documents confirming that it cost 18,000 euros, according to Russia Today .

The US base will remain on the sirens until the Romanian judiciary decides on the case, the herd is removed from the base, or the two sides of the conflict are separated, keeping the sheep alive and the wolves saturated.
