    [ltr]Turkish media reported on Thursday that the Turkish army has raised the alert on the border with Syria to the highest level.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Turkish army today removed parts of the border wall at 12 points on the Turkish border with the Syrian town of Afrin.[/ltr]
    [ltr]This comes in tandem with statements from activists inside Syria, who said that the Turkish army and the Free Army bombed in the late hours of the night sites of Kurdish militants in Afrin.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Turkish army had sent more military vehicles to Hatay and Kalis, near Afrin.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The National Security Council announced last night that the Turkish national security is threatened and decided to take the necessary steps immediately to eliminate the threats against the country from western Syria in order to ensure the security of citizens and their property and to enhance security on the border, The meeting ended[/ltr]
