The US Supreme Court announced Friday that it will consider the third version of President Donald Trump's anti-immigration decree, which includes banning entry into the United States of the citizens of seven countries (Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iran, Somalia, North Korea and Chad) and Venezuelan government officials.

The presidential decision saw judicial disqualification from judges in Hawaii and Maryland, prompting the US government to challenge judicial decisions, which have contributed to the escalating judicial battle and recourse to the courts since the end of January.

The San Francisco Court of Appeals in November approved Trump's decision on immigration in part but excludes "foreigners who can prove a relationship with a person or entity in the United States."
