    Follow-up / Sky Press:

JERUSALEM - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leader of an Arab country have "recently held telephone conversations," Israeli Channel 10 reported Saturday evening.

Channel 10 quoted unnamed Israeli officials as saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jordan's King Abdullah II had "recently held telephone conversations" without clarifying the content of the talks and exactly when they were conducted.

And according to Israeli officials, that there are intentions to work to "arrange a meeting between the parties soon."

On Thursday, Israel officially apologized to Jordan for the killing of three Jordanian citizens by Israeli gunfire in incidents that occurred at different times during the past years.

The apology included the killing of two Jordanians by an Israeli guard in a building belonging to the Tel Aviv embassy in Amman in July 2017 and the shooting of Judge Raed Zaiter in March 2014 by an Israeli soldier.
