The Ministry of Communications denied rumors of a project to provide free satellite internet to Iraq and other countries, describing it as propaganda media. The company that promoted the news on social networking sites did not agree with the ministry to implement this project.

The senior technical agent in the ministry Amir Bayati in a press statement: "The sites of social networking and electronic sites have been talking since the days of talk about the project to launch free Internet space service."

"This talk was launched by a company with work and representatives in Iraq and around the world called Koyaka, led by the leading company Talia in the field of satellites, which so far did not meet the government, the ministry or the media and communications."

He added: "The ministry does not have any information about the services that may be provided by the company and its quality and also need to be determined by the security opinion of this project."
