said Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, said Turkey has dealt double on the Kurdish issue, saying that the presence of its troops in Iraq "symbolic". 

"The Turkish military presence in Iraq is symbolic," Abadi said during a meeting with the Kuwaiti media delegation. "I was invited to visit Turkey in the context of the work of the high coordination committee between the two countries."




"The Turks were dealing with duality in the Kurdish file and they supported the Kurds of Iraq and deal with them outside the framework of the federal government while denying the rights of the Turkish Kurds to them until the issue of the referendum and felt the threat changed the view of the Turks towards rapprochement with Baghdad," pointing out that " A negative attitude of the government against the Iraqi Kurds, but they are citizens in their country have citizenship rights and duties. " 

"The Turks have great fears from the PKK organization in northern Iraq," he said. "Iraq does not support this organization and does not want it to be taken from Iraqi territory as a base for attacking Turkey." 

Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu said Sunday that his country supports Iraq's unity and stability and called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to visit Turkey.
