Ray spokesman for the National Bloc white MP Kazem al-Shammari, Friday, that "the six paragraphs that have been voted on election law in yesterday's session was a positive gesture from the board to the street that we are determined to pass the law and hold the elections on time."


[ltr]Al-Shammari said, according to a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that "there is a kind of convergence in order to pass the election law, has been a major effort in this area to reach the minimum of compatibility, but it seems that some of the blocks are still sticking to the entrenched positions and this forced us to postpone the vote on the whole of the law to tomorrow's meeting on Saturday. [ltr]He added that "we can not accept an increase of seats at the expense of the mass block or other component at the expense of another, where increases must be balanced and equally to all provinces, otherwise we will face an inquiry and a difficult situation in front of the mass bases."[/ltr]
