The ministry's spokesman, Hazem Mohammed Ali, said in a statement to Al-Sabah: "Al-Salam General Company in the ministry has completed the project of tracking vehicles (GPS) for the Iraqi company for banking services, thus contributing to secure the movement of armored vehicles carrying the funds. He stressed that the engineering teams in Al Salam Company installed and operated the system at the headquarters of the Iraqi Company for Banking Services to track the vehicles from the visual control unit and connected (online) directly to the Internet, so as to know the whereabouts of the vehicle and the amount of fuel remaining and speed and fingerprint identification of the driver, The possibility of extinguishing and operation of vehicles remotely. He pointed out that it is hoped to implement similar projects to other government institutions as needed, especially as the ministry is working to intensify the efforts of its employees to provide the best services to government departments.
