BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq is preparing to strengthen the pillars of long-term stability aimed at developing the economic and developmental system, Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri said on Sunday.
"Iraq passed through harsh and difficult conditions, during which it fought hard and fought the fiercest gang that emerged in recent history and was able to liberate its land and protect its people and the peoples of the region from danger," Jubouri told reporters during a meeting with a group of Iraqi and Arab journalists and journalists.
