McCain said "Frankly, I was not happy about it ... discourse, but that has been waiting for this type of assistance required by the strategy we need and we need to know exactly how it will be published and we need to see some changes in Iraq."

In addition to the McCain-Maliki met with the leaders of the Foreign Relations Committee and Senate Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives.

Sen. Bob Crocker-ranking Republican in the Senate committee, which also signed the letter directed to Obama that "Maliki's visit were not as productive as what has resulted visits to most of the other international leaders."

"It did not seem to me that he absorbed يتملكنا of feeling concerned about what is going on there. Seemed that it does not understand that these things are important to us and I do not think that this meeting was particularly useful."

The government official said that the White House supports to help the Iraqis to respond to the base, but al-Maliki and members of his entourage to convince Congress of the case.
