    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Tuesday the start of the campaign against corruption, indicating that the task will not end in a matter of days. "We have started the fight against corruption, which will not end in a matter of days," Abadi said at his weekly press conference and his follow-up. "We have taken great steps in the fight against corruption." On the incident of Al-Baghdadi district in western Anbar province, Abadi said that "the investigation is still underway to know the circumstances of the incident Baghdadi." He continued, "The security and intelligence efforts continue to pursue terrorism wherever it is," asserting that "Iraqi forces control the entire Iraqi-Syrian border." In a related context, the Prime Minister said his government "requested full information about detainees in the Kurdistan region." Abadi added that he was "ready to cooperate with the House of Representatives and its committees to pass the bill of the budget of 2018," asserting that "
