The Coalition Forces' international command to fight a terrorist organization has announced the death of three senior al-Qaeda leaders.
The command said in a statement that its operations continue in Iraq and Syria and continue to remove the leaders of the organization from the battlefield and hit their ability to regroup and resume their threat to the citizens of all countries.
She pointed out that the air strikes of the coalition forces led to the killing of three prominent leaders of the organization in Syria, one of them in November 2017 and the second in December 2017 and the third in January 2018.
She explained that the removal of these prominent terrorists impede the movement of the leadership of "Dahesh" and its activities in the delivery of information and reduce its ability to plan and launch terrorist attacks in Syria, Iraq and the region.
She said that among the leaders killed by Sheikh Abu Anas al-Furati, who died in an air strike near a hybrid area in Syria in November 2017, explaining that he was responsible for coordinating attacks inside Syria, saying that his death "limits the organization's ability to launch terrorist attacks In the region. "
The statement added that the coalition and its partners continue to put pressure on senior leaders and their partners in several networks to dismantle the structures of the organization and remove terrorism from Iraq and Syria.
