Russian Ambassador to Iraq Maxim Maximov said that Moscow is ready to consider the possibility of supplying Iraq with an anti-air missile system " S-400 " if received a request.
The Russian diplomat said in a press statement the hope that Baghdad will apply in particular, and also on the provision of other weapons.
"Within the framework of military technical cooperation, Russia has already handed over to the Iraqi government large amounts of military equipment, which has proved well in the battlefields against the terrorist organization (calling) in Iraq."
Maximov said the equipment included Mi-35M and Mi-28H helicopters, Su-25 fighters as well as anti-tank missile systems Kornet-TE and other military equipment , Adding that contacts with Baghdad continue in this area.
