    [rtl]Direct : The top five companies in the US technology sector lost more than $ 400 billion in a wave of recent volatility in global stock markets.[/rtl]

    According to the calculations of CNBC, which relied on measuring the performance of stocks from the highest level in a year and the lowest level, shares lost 437 billion dollars.
     
    All five shares recorded the highest level in their history after trading on January 18, the session where the Dow Jones index reached 26,000 points.
     
    Alphabit was the biggest loser, losing $ 124.7 billion.
     
    Apple and Microsoft lost $ 123.7 billion and $ 77.4 billion respectively.
     
    In Facebook, its market value dropped by $ 62.6 billion, while Amazon was the worst-off and lost $ 48.4 billion.
     
    Since last Friday's session, US and global equities markets have been volatile, coinciding with a rise in yields on US Treasuries.
     
    At the close of yesterday's session , the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 1,000 points with the lowest 24,000 points.
