Oil prices are falling rapidly and Brent is recording less than $ 62

Saturday 10 February

BAGHDAD ( Reuters) -
Oil prices fell on Saturday, heading for the biggest weekly loss in 10 months as a surge in US crude output boosted fears of a sharp rise in world supplies.

Brent crude futures closed down $ 2.19, or 3.38 percent, at $ 62.62 a barrel.

US WTI fell 2.09 dollars, or 3.17 percent, to 59.06 dollars a barrel after falling 1 percent in the previous session to its lowest close since January 2.
