Al-Soury added that the Kuwait conference is mainly for the private sector in the presence of local and foreign investment companies, and bringing these companies can not be simply a desire to work, but by creating an integrated investment environment and providing all the conditions of the investment environment suitable for the investor whether local or foreign, At the moment to the investment environment suitable for investment.
He pointed out that the creation of an investment environment requires the elimination of financial and administrative corruption and deadly bureaucracy and resolve the issue of clan disputes that get from time to time to bring investment.
According to sources, the conference will be attended by about 1300 international and local investment companies will participate in the conference representing 40 countries, and the Iraqi private sector 10% of the contributions to the conference, while the Arab and foreign constitute 90%.
The conference will be the first day of the Iraqi government's review of the most important reform steps, the social dimension of reconstruction and the role of the international development institutions in the reconstruction. The second day will be devoted to investment. In coordination with Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Investment Authority, , 41 major projects and 116 medium-sized enterprises.
The project will include the rehabilitation and development of Mosul International Airport and Nasiriyah International Railways, which will include projects: a new line (Baghdad - Kot - Amara - Basra). (Baghdad - Diwaniyah - Samawah - Basrah) New Line (Masib - Karbala - Najaf - Samawah) Bus Line (Basrah - Shalamjah - Iran) - Baquba - Kirkuk - Erbil - Mosul and the branch - Baquba - Khanaqin - Manziriyah - Iran).
