[rtl]Mubasher : Oil prices rose during Monday's trading, and rose the "Nymex" top $ 60, in anticipation of the announcement of the report, "OPEC."[/rtl]
By 9:00 am (GMT), the benchmark Brent crude was up 1.9 percent at $ 63.95 a barrel.
The price of NYMEX crude futures was also up $ 1.9 per barrel at $ 60.35 a barrel.
The price of Nymex crude after falling to $ 59.16 a barrel earlier in the day.
Oil prices were the worst performer in two years last week and fell about 10%.
Concerns over oversupply were a major reason for the decline in the price of crude, as US production and inventories rose, and the number of US crude platforms increased by 26.
The OPEC report for January is due to be announced later this month, with expectations of an increase.
