Information / Baghdad ..
The representative of the National Alliance, Triumph al-Gharibawi, said Tuesday that Turkey has started a water war on Iraq, demanding the intervention of the central government to deter Turkey in order to avoid a disaster in Iraq.
Al-Gharibawi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is required to intervene urgently to remedy the drought of the Tigris River completely and the occurrence of a disaster in Iraq," noting that "Abadi must deter Turkey, which is waging war on Iraq by cutting off the Tigris River for the purpose of Water dam of the newly created Alesso. "
She explained that "many orchards lost their agricultural crops, especially in the southern provinces because of the drying of the Tigris River and its farms in the rest of the provinces," stressing that "the drought of the river threatens the lives of millions of Iraqis, which requires urgent intervention to avoid the disaster."
