    Foreign Relations Officer: President Barzani seeks to attract Kuwaiti private sector to the Kurdistan Region

    The Government of the Kurdistan Region, the importance of the visit of the President of the Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani to the State of Kuwait and it comes to attracting the Kuwaiti private sector to work in the province.

    The Chairman of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa that the goal of President Barzani's visit is to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and the State of Kuwait, as well as raise the issue of opening the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in the province of Kurdistan.

    He added that the visit also aims to discuss prospects of cooperation in the political, economic, trade and encourage the Kuwaiti private sector to come to the Kurdistan Region and its work and participation in a commercial activity in the region and the current investment activities. He Mustafa expressed his optimism regarding the opening of the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in the Kurdistan region because it leads to the development prospects of historical relations between the province and the State of Kuwait, pointing out that the opening of the consulate would lead to openness and broad, especially for the private sector in all fields, particularly we want to change our sources of economic.

    He pointed out that agriculture, industry and tourism is one of the important areas and available available in front of the Kuwaiti private sector companies to invest in. expressing optimism about the future of this relationship and trust that the presence of the Consulate General will facilitate this task.
