Transport Minister Kazem Al-Yamami said that flights between Baghdad and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, will return to normal schedule starting today after the forms and the launch of the plane is stopped after confirming the safety of the shipment.
"The Ministry of Transport has made great efforts to complete all procedures for the launch of the aircraft as soon as possible and under his personal supervision so as not to disrupt the interests of passengers between the two countries," Hamami said in a statement to the ministry.
"Iraq is seeking to have its relations with the world's countries equal and the delay of the flights came at the decision of the Civil Aviation Authority of Azerbaijan."
He called for "intensive work and more understanding to stimulate tourism between the two countries."

The Civil Aviation Authority explained the reason for the delay of flights between Iraq and Azerbaijan during the past few days, pointing out that this was based on the principle of reciprocity with the Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Authority, which sent a notice to the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority not to receive any flight from Iraqi national carriers because of the detention of suspicious aircraft With its bulk.
