The Australian government continues to tighten security measures at its maritime borders to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing, while issuing a warning in 17 languages to prevent asylum seekers from being tricked into sabotaging smugglers, as they will be subject to detention and will certainly not enter Australian territory.
"It has tightened measures at its maritime borders to prevent refugees, illegal immigrants, smugglers and other criminal activities," the Australian government said in a statement. "This attempt came to warn people around the world of new tough policies."
"It has issued warnings in 17 different languages to prevent the entry of asylum seekers into the trap of smuggling and pay the money for that," she said, stressing that "illegal asylum seekers who come through smuggling boats have no place in their territory will be detained and returned from where they came" .
The Australian government launched a border security operation led by the military, known as the "border sovereignty process" in 2013, aimed at combating the smuggling of people across the sea and protect the borders of Australia, while confirming the continuation of its strict policy on this matter.
