The House of Representatives on Thursday voted on a resolution requiring the federal government to set a timetable for the departure of foreign troops from Iraqi territory.
"The House of Representatives voted on a resolution to give thanks and appreciation to all the countries that stood with Iraq to fight it and called on the terrorist," a parliamentary source told Al-Maaloumah.
"The resolution also called on the government to set a timetable for the departure of foreign troops from Iraqi territory," the source added.
The Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament has already submitted a request to the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Al-Abadi to attend to clarify the issues raised regarding the US military presence. Ending / 25
