    The parliamentary Finance Committee on Thursday that it received comments on the financial budget for the current year from the rest of the parliamentary parties in the absence of Kurdish blocs.
    The Chairman of the Finance Committee said in a statement today that "the observations submitted by the Finance Committee was the absence of deputies of the Kurdish blocs.
    He pointed out that the points of disagreement were the salaries of employees and the province of provinces and salaries of the Peshmerga forces.
    The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri on Tuesday held a meeting with the Chairman and members of the Finance Committee parliamentary.
    A statement issued by Jubouri office said that during the meeting, finalization of the general budget law for 2018 was made. He praised the great efforts exerted by the committee in overcoming all obstacles and resolving the controversial points that hinder the adoption of the budget law within its constitutional time.
    The statement said Jubouri said that the ongoing discussions led to a satisfactory formula for all parties, adding that the end of the budget law will give messages of reassurance to all parties that the next phase will see the start of the page of construction and reconstruction and the return of security and stability in the country.
    For his part, a parliamentary source told the news that the Kurdish blocs did not attend this meeting for failure to implement their demands to increase the share of the Kurdistan Region of the federal budget for the current year after the Iraqi government decided to reduce them from 17% to 12%.
    The parliamentary source told twilight news that the House of Representatives voted in its current session headed by Salim al-Jubouri, the president of the council and the presence of 170 members on the following resolutions: Considering the district of Al-Ajaj and its villages and the area of ​​Tal Abtah and the villages affiliated with it a disaster area, Tal Afar is a disaster area, and the districts of Anbar province, Al Qaim, are considered to be disaster areas.
