Ministry of Finance reported that the General Customs Authority of its financial revenues for the month of January exceeded the 110 billion dinars, up by 50 percent compared to the same month last year.
An official source in the ministry told «Al-Sabah»: «The financial revenues of the state of continuous escalation as a result of the procedures followed and the government plan to increase the volume of non-oil revenue in the general budget», noting that «the increase of revenues included most of the departments of the ministry, such as customs, Nearly 50 percent in January compared to the same month last year. "
He added that «the General Customs Authority has achieved revenues for the month of January more than 110 billion dinars in an increase of double the amount compared to last year, and that this increase came after the activation of procedures and increased control at the border crossings».[/rtl]
