[ltr]On Tuesday, the Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice issued a clarification on the circumstances and objections that followed the issuance of lists of names covered by the detention procedures in Law (72) of 2017[/ltr]
[ltr]"Since its establishment in 2004, the Commission has been fully committed to the provisions of the laws and legislations issued by the legislative authority elected by the Iraqi people and its representative, and its role was from the outset as a revealing and not an operational institution," a statement issued by Mawazine News said. The basis of its mandate ".[/ltr]
[ltr]The Commission explained that "we have followed the statements issued by the Ministry of the Interior, which rejects the special procedures that included the martyr Maj. Gen. [ltr]According to documents issued by the Accountability and Justice, on Monday, the transfer of movable and immovable property to 4354 as well as confiscation of funds transferred to Saddam Hussein and his family and grandchildren and relatives to the second degree.[/ltr]
