Al-Hadithi: The government rejects any international tutelage over any part of Iraq
07/3/2018 12:00 am [rtl] BAGHDAD / Al-Sabah Spokesman for the Information Office of the Prime Minister, Saad al-Hadithi, on Tuesday, the statements of the MP for the bloc of change Hoshyar Abdullah, who demanded the imposition of UN custody in the Kurdistan region, stressing the government's rejection of any custody of any part of Iraq. Al-Hadithi added that "the federal government is responsible for every part of the land of Iraq and any citizen, whether Kurdish or Arab or any other component," pointing out that «this responsibility can not be abandoned and that the government exercise its work in accordance with the principle of equality between Iraqis». Al-Hadithi pointed out that "the issue of demanding the imposition of international tutelage on the Kurdistan region is absolutely incorrect as Iraq is an independent sovereign state and a member of the United Nations, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. It has its borders and its legal, political and sovereign entity. It is based in international law and recognized by all international norms, That «talk about the imposition of guardianship on part of the Iraqi state is absolutely incorrect and contrary to the Constitution and the sovereignty of the State and with what the international community approved through laws and customs in terms of the borders of the Iraqi state and sovereignty, Ni him ».
