Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vassili Nibenzia on Thursday expressed Moscow's concern about the growing activities of the organization "Daash" in the northern regions of Afghanistan.

Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, Nebenzia said that the activities of the terrorist organization represented a "serious factor" in the deterioration of the security situation there. The number of armed militants in the north of the country is constantly increasing, making this area a foothold for expansion. Other regions, including Central Asia.

The Russian diplomat added that Russia's biggest concern was the establishment of a large network of training camps for militants, including those from Russia and the Central Asian countries.

The Russian representative pointed out that the incidents of transporting arms to the "Dahesh" on board helicopters without signs have not been investigated so far. "This issue can not be tolerated, but must be investigated thoroughly and stop these practices without delay." Finished
