    Prime Minister Haider Abadi stressed the importance of women playing a fundamental role in building, reconstruction, confrontation and leadership, pointing out that the current laws in Iraq give women broad powers to participate in the political process.
     
    "The Da'ashi project has failed in Iraq and there are societies that want women to have secondary roles, but they are equal with men and we want them to play a fundamental role," Abbadi said in a speech during the central celebration of International Women's Day. In the construction, reconstruction and response and to be a genuine participation after the role was essential in the fight against terrorism and motivation for men. "
     
    He explained that we want to build a strong Iraq and that Baghdad is a source of giving, criticizing the harassment of women, and stressed the right to build and work, and that it has respect and appreciation and support by men.
     
    Abadi pointed out, "the importance of the effective participation of women in the next government, through the existing laws, which gives them broad powers to participate in the political process."
