Zebari and U.S. ambassador to discuss the results of al-Maliki's visit to Washington and activation of understanding armament side
Follow-up - and babysit - Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and U.S. ambassador to Iraq, Robert Stephen Beecroft on the importance of following up implementation Altfahamat between the two countries at the political level and armament.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement received news agency public opinion (and babysit) a copy of it on Thursday, "Zebari met yesterday evening, U.S. ambassador and discussed with him relations, Iraq - the U.S., as well as follow-up to the visit of Prime Minister and the government delegation to Washington recently."
The statement added, "It was emphasized on the importance of following up the implementation of the understandings that have been made in the areas of political consultation and cooperation security, armaments and follow up the work of the Joint Coordinating Committees emanating from the strategic framework agreement between the two countries."
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki visited the United States in 29 of the last month lasted several days during which he met with U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden and other senior leaders and officials and discussed with them cooperation in combating terrorism and activating the strategic framework agreement, and Maliki announced after meeting with Obama close the signing of the buy combat helicopters of the type (Apache) and different weapons and information systems and intelligence to fight terrorism.
