Received the Electoral Commission for elections, Thursday, requests from 49 political entities to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, while confirming the absence of exceptions on Insurance financial constraints on political entities wishing to participate in the elections.
A spokesman for the Board of Commissioners Safaa al-Moussawi's (IMN) "The Board of Commissioners received requests for participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections 2014 from 49 political entities," noting that "The Commission has received requests from a feminist entities to participate in the elections."
Moussawi said that "the value of financial insurance amounting to 50 million dinars and restrictions on political entities wishing to participate," noting that "the foundation of the financial situation of the insurance requirement for the purpose of ascertaining the seriousness of the entities to participate in the elections."
The Board of Commissioners decided to extend the period of registration of political entities participating in parliamentary elections until next Wednesday, the 20th of this month after it was scheduled to shut down the registry in 15 of the month.
Presidency identified according to a presidential decree of 30 April of next year, a formal date for the general parliamentary elections.
