(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Cabinet held its regular session on Tuesday and voted on several resolutions, including the prevention of firing shots at events.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that "the cabinet voted during its session on the draft law of the College of War. The vote was also taken to merge the General Company for Engineering Support with the General Company for Iron and Steel under the name of the General Company for Iron and Steel."
"The Council voted to protect the products of distribution transformers, electrical and mechanical measurements and power transformers, as well as the protection of the industrial sponge product and the protective barrier product of the roads."
He added that "the Cabinet also voted on the proposed law to prevent the firing of firecrackers on occasions, and voted on a bill to deal with the period of receipt of applications stipulated in Law No. 13 of 2016, the first amendment to the law of family documents bearing the aliases for displaced persons and migrants No. 79 of 2012.
"The Cabinet also voted to authorize the Ministry of Finance or the person authorized to borrow from JICA for purposes specified in the draft budget law," he said.
