MP confirmed the coalition of state law Zeinab al-Khazraji, "The ratification of the President of the Republic on the laws that are voted in the House of Representatives and sent to the President of the Republic, is honorable protocol, as approved by the Constitution in Article 73 and does not entail legal matters whether ratified or not ratified.
"It is not the right of the President of the Republic to restore the budget to the House of Representatives or decide what are the irregularities in the budget because it is not within the jurisdiction of the President of the Republic on the grounds that the budget will be worked out after two weeks of voting on it" .
"The budget law for this year delayed a lot and the projects and the interests of the Iraqi people were all disrupted because of the lack of approval of the budget and it was better for the President of the Republic to take full responsibility and ratify the budget because it does not bear the delay more and affected by all the people."
Khazraji added that the budget this year achieved justice between all governorates and the budget was distributed equally by population ratios, including the provinces of the Kurdistan region.
She pointed out that "the refusal of the President of the Republic to ratify the budget was the result of pressure by some of the Kurdish leaders on Fuad Masum, a political party decision par excellence, so we hope the government to work the budget law according to the Constitution and the law and not delay the budget law more service to the public good.
