The General Authority of Customs announced on Saturday that it had seized semi-finished Saudi plates to fill local materials, pointing out that this is contrary to the provisions of the Customs Law.
"A delegation from the Jordanian side was seized through the port of Trebil loaded with a sheet of forged iron and labeled with different brands, half of which is manufactured and the word" Made in Saudi Arabia "is confirmed, the authority said in a statement.
"The plates will be completed manufacturing and cutting in the form of packaging and packaging local materials to be the carrier of trademarks and origin of Saudi Arabia," noting that "this is contrary to the provisions of the Customs Law No. 32 of 1984 amending."
