Preparations for the establishment of a water complex (O Hussein 2)

Najaf water director Mahdi al-Hatami told al-Sabah: "There are two compounds in the province. The need for them has changed. Therefore, after discussing with the technical officials in the Directorate, we decided to move the two compounds to the new site between Najaf and Karbala to build a water complex. He pointed out that the transfer of the compartments and the construction of a new complex require the allocation of part of the costs of the project by the Council of the province because the potential of the Directorate does not bear these costs, adding that the construction of the project requires the transfer of the compilers to the new site and the necessary dismantling and re-installation and linking electric and civil and mechanical work with Create line and transmission lines for distribution. Al-Hatami added that the Directorate has adopted two plans for the completion of this project. The first, in the event of availability of financial allocations for the project, the completion and entry into service will be during this year. In case of lack of financial allocation, the second plan depends on the self-potential of the Directorate, It will take an extra two years. Al-Hatami explained that the production capacity of the complex is between 400 and 500 cubic meters per hour. It provides services to the Husseiniyah processions along the "Ya Hussein" road as well as the areas near the Najaf Karbala road. He pointed out that the Directorate addressed the provincial council in order to allocate a sum of money to this project because of its importance in the delivery of water to the areas between Najaf and Karbala, especially as the demand for water increases in these areas during the visits of millions and religious events, The province is witnessing an increase in the demand for drinking water due to the increasing numbers of arrivals, in addition to the large population expansion witnessed during the past few years.[/rtl] [rtl][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl] |
