Committee member MP Sadiq al-Labban said in a press statement: "The presidency did not send the budget to the Legal Committee to reconsider the alleged constitutional violations on its part."
He added: "The Committee did not refrain from considering the budget again and did not refuse to receive from the presidency of the Republic," adding: "The refusal of the infallible ratification of the budget is for the first time during his presence in power, especially after the share of Kurds differed from its predecessor."

The Parliamentary Legal Committee on its own on the subject of disagreement on the budget with the Presidency of the Republic, and said that Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri is the one who will resolve the issue after returning from Turkey.
