The pharmaceutical syndicate in the province of Dhi Qar said that the government's pricing program included only 5 percent of the medicines in pharmacies so far.
The head of the pharmacists in Dhi Qar, Dr. Haider al-Shuwaili, said that this percentage is small at the moment, pointing the reason to the procedures of registration and approval of companies that are equipped with medicines, which need some time, as well as the slow scientific offices in fixing prices.
He pointed out the ministry's decision to impose the pricing, which is likely to take some time until the completion of the full fix prices of all drugs in the bakery and pharmacies.
The first meal of prescription drugs went to pharmacies in January of this year 2018.
