The Prime Minister of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security on Sunday.
The meeting discussed the position of the security audit of the staff of the liberated areas (Nineveh) and directing the ministries to prepare a statistical on the personnel who did not proceed and guidance to resolve the security audit as soon as possible.
He also presented to the Council the annual report on stability in Iraq (criteria of fragility) and the great improvement of Iraq according to the level of the International Classification and work to raise it to a higher level and issue a set of directives on this matter.
The memorandum of understanding on cooperation and intelligence coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran was voted on.
The implementation of previous decisions was also followed up and a number of other topics on the agenda were discussed.
