The Japanese ambassador from Dhi Qar: We have provided Iraq with 15 billion dollars since 2003

Iraq's ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai, announced on Monday that his country has provided loans and financial grants to improve infrastructure in the country, amounting to 15 billion dollars since 2003.
"Japan is one of the biggest countries supporting Iraq to make a better future for Iraqis," Iwai told reporters. "The Japanese government will continue to support this future through the development and rehabilitation of projects and infrastructure.
"Japan is keen to cooperate in this regard to contribute to the construction and reconstruction of Iraq, " he said
